Lightbulb Lower = better fuel mileage

I uninstalled an Autospring leveling kit and dropped the rear two inches with DJM lowering shackles and now my fuel mileage is up. On four tanks of gas since the drop, I’ve increased my average mileage by five-tenths a gallon. Not bad at all

Hey jp...did you notice an increase after your Xcalibrator? Mine has increased damn near a 1mpg since tuning and this is over several tanks of gas.

Sure enough, with the Xcalibrator I definitely get better gas mileage. Dropping the front back down to stock and lowering the rear helped too. I’ve been averaging 16.4 mpg, that mixed driving, mostly local.

I'm only getting 14.7... It used to be 12.5 but I got it up to 14 on a long trip I took... but it's slowly fading away.

It's not easy. I would have to say that the only way to get the MPG up is a 50 mile straight stretch of road with speed limit signs that say "resonable speed" (I know they exist, I've seen the signs). Then, when you pass the sign you go about 80 for the next... hour. Then, if your lucky your MPG will go up about +0.2

Dont worry guys.. the MPG get better with time....

When my truck was brand new... MPG was **** poor.. not is pushing 20.. regular cab with 5.4 litre...

Its all it the pedal usage... plus, I do 65 MPH on the highway instead of 75 like I used to.

1 BIG reason..... Weight. RC will get better MPG than Scabs, Scabs will get better MPG than Screws.

Just got back from a business trip to Ohio (228 round trip). I got about 18 mpg going an average of 72-74 mph. That absolutely is awesome. Imagine the increase with the Excal. Close to 20 I'm sure.

Anyone else get this kind of milage?

Congrads storm! I guess my MPG will always stay low... we don't have speed limits higher than 55 around here...

Same here Dahl. Just got back from a trip to east TX for a kart race. 680 Miles round trip..cruise set on about 78-80 mph and got 17.9 mpg on tank up and 18.2 on tank back. Both were with the a/c on! These monsters do get great mileage if your smooth with the pedal!

Yes, but it takes a 680 mile trip to get it to go up.
