My wife is taking some photography classes. This is one of her first pics.

She took this pic.......



and made it look like this..........

It's called a 'Vignette'. Used to require a lot of practice, experience, and time in the darkroom. Ansel Adams burned the edges in like that all the time in his work. It subconsciously moves your eye to the subject.

Now it can be done in a matter of seconds.

Actually I should say where you live is close to where we are buying a new home. Out there in Olivehurst.

wanna know how experienced photographers do a vignette?

take a Kleenex, fold in quarters and tear out the corner. Unfold and you have a circle ripped out of the centre. Place this over the lens. Try it. Very easy and very cheap.
