My wife is taking some photography classes. This is one of her first pics.

She took this pic.......



and made it look like this..........

 

Look like Hawaii and not Ca.

 

That's the first thing that came to my mind when I first saw the pic.

 

Definitely got the skillz. Thats close to where my new house is going to be. .

 

Where will that be? Up by Grass Valley?

 

She did a very good job. Do you think she could give us some pointers?

It's called a 'Vignette'. Used to require a lot of practice, experience, and time in the darkroom. Ansel Adams burned the edges in like that all the time in his work. It subconsciously moves your eye to the subject.

Now it can be done in a matter of seconds.

 

Actually she did it in Photoshop.

 

Actually I should say where you live is close to where we are buying a new home. Out there in Olivehurst.

 

wanna know how experienced photographers do a vignette?

take a Kleenex, fold in quarters and tear out the corner. Unfold and you have a circle ripped out of the centre. Place this over the lens. Try it. Very easy and very cheap.

 

You think she can photoshop a 6 inch lift and 35's on my truck for me?
