I think Kanuck's door handles are covers. I think I have the same handles (Mine are not installed). I think Putco is the manufacturer. It looks like they are now made of ABS plastic, when I bought mine they where made of stainless steel. They stick on with sticky tape which had me worried, so I was waiting to see if anyone had problems. Any problem? Kanuck.

do they make the covers for the handles w/keyless entry? I love the look but figured it wasnt an option since i have the keyless entry pad on the drivers side.

I am in the same boat as you. I wonder if it is possible to simply replace the actual plastic handle and not the plastic back part of the handle...

Well to clear up a few things, i have the TFP stainless steel stick on covers. The billit ones were not an option when i got mine. I am looking at obtaining the solid billit version soon. I also have keyless entry and my covers came with the keyless entry portion removed.

I really do like the TFP as they have held awesome from plus 30 celcious to minus 30 celcious and look as good today as they did when they were new. The reason i didnt buy the Putco ones as they were just chrome covered plastic.

Check my gallery... Billet handles by Grippen. And yes, you can remove just the handle. It won't break if you're careful. JP

Kanuck,

I must have the TFP's like you. Mine are Stainless also. I didn't remember what they were, "I bought them last summer." and never put them on cause I'm lazy and I wanted to see how they were going to hold up for everyone. You're saying they're holding up nicely, so the next warmer day I get I'll put mine on "That is if I'm not lazy that day."
