I just received my letter yesterday. It also came with a sticker to put in the warranty Guide directly over the Tire Wear section.....

Hope there are no problems with the tires.....

 

Does it matter what size or brand of tires that came with the truck?

23,000 miles on my crappy Generals. I've had 4 flats already, and there is virtually no tread left. I am giving up on them and getting new tires Friday.

 

The letter is a thinly disguised CYA attempt by Ford to extend the warranty (excluding road hazards) because of premature tire wear due to the nibble/vibration issues that remain unresolved over two model years to date.

 

I started with the bfgs on the truck, then put on goodyear at/s.

Its not the tires in my case its me burning them off.
