Any problems with the '05s?

I have observed one thing about the F-150 which probably isn't anything new. As most of you know I had an 04 FX4 that was bought back by the DSB due to vibration. It took that truck about 6,000 miles before the engine finally felt smooth and had more felt HP. My new 05 Lariat is sluggish but it only has 900 miles on it. I think it takes some time for these trucks to loosen up. Overall this new truck isn't much different than my 2000 F150 when it comes to felt HP. I have no complaints about HP.

I have about 1,500 miles on mine and it runs much stronger than when I first started driving it. I basically took it easy for the first 1,000 miles though I did stomp it a few times in the process.
The engine is very responsive when I hit the gas now. I don't think I will be doing any mods to the engine as I'm satisfied with the power.

I wonder if I can get a free compression check from Ford to see if it has a problem.
