Toolbox
What kind of luck have you guys had finding a toolbox to fit in the new F150? My truck has the 6.5' box. I am trying to find a chest type toolbox so that it does not sit on the bed rails. We have had some issues with busting the sides of the box loose when we have put in crossover boxes in, in the past. This has a little to do with the rough treatment that these trucks get on our farm, but I don't want to risk it on the new truck either. I have tried boxs from DeeZee, Weather Gaurd, and Delta, not luck so far. I am open for suggestions. Other reason for going with the chest type of a box is so that I could get a soft box cover and have no interference with the toolbox.
I have a black Challenger box by deflectashield in my 6.5 ft box. I got it from www.truckstuffusa.com for about $400
Here is the link for mine (if it works). It is 48" long and basically fits between the lines on the bottom of the bed where the bottom and sides are attached. Its about 20" high (depth is not really an issue because out beds are so deep) and I think 24" wide (front to back).

It's the non-slant bottom at the bottom of the page (the picture still shows the slant bottom though)

I got mine at TSC (Tractor Supply Company) for about $150.00.
Black powder coat with the low profile (ignore the broken fishing pole
) Fits great.

[EDIT]
It's a DeeZee tool box. I Dont use it for farm equipement, just basically fishing supplies, and some basic tools (Jumper cables, screw driver, etc). Works good for what I need. If you've had issues in the past with the sides busting, (I can understand that with heavy farm supplies) an idea might be to support the box from the bottom as well. Thats what my dad did with his box.
I would also check out TSC and see what they have to offer.
