traded in my 2000 corvette and took the truck plunge. after driving a camaro and then a vette on the streets of san antonio, i took a job in watertown, wisconsin and realized i needed a truck. so now i start my new job in august with a new haircut and a new FX4. what else could a man want? this forum has been a great help for my wifes truck (98 f150 170,000+ miles and still going strong), but now i shall call this forum home.
anybody out there in southern wisconsin?

WOW! Congrats on your new location. If you're a race fan, the track at Elkhart Lake (locale of ROAD AMERICA) is one of the most scenic in the U.S. I can still hear the V-12s, V-8s, and inline 6s battling it out in Thunder Alley...a sound you'll never forget. And, the Osh Kosh Air Show...one of a kind in the world. And, the beautiful Wisconsin Dells. All within a 1-2 hour drive of Watertown. Lucky you! The only drawback is the winter...you can anticipate -15 degrees and wind-chill factors to write home 'bout. Think 'ice fishing'.

after living in texas all my life, i wouldnt be able to move up north. i dont like the extreme heat we get these days, but other than that its great. might be a beautiful place, but id prefer to go during summer.
