Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Hey guys, I was up at Silver Lake Sand Dunes for the Independence Day holiday weekend. We had a pretty good time, just thought I'd share a few pictures. I'm running a totally stock 2004 F-150 FX4 and made it up every single hill there. Aired the front tires down to 13 PSI and the rears to 10 psi.

Dude, you gotta learn to resize your pics!!! But since you posted at 2AM, I'll assume you were tired/hammered and didn't think about it...

Nice pics, but where's the ones of the trucks jumping the dunes?!

That camera must have filled up the bed of your truck if the pictures came out that large.

Yes, I was too tired, and didn't think about resizing the pics. We thought about taking the Grand Am out there, but he has run flats on it, so we couldn't lower the tire pressure enough. If any of you know anything about ZR2's, you'll know that "Vicious Rumor" is pretty damn famous, it's an one of a kind, the only one in the world and it's my friend's dads. Really cool truck. Those pictures were all taken with a Kodak DX6340 (3.1 MegaPixel) it's an awesome digital camera.

Yeah I was checking out that ZR2. Looks like there's some money tied up in it especially if it has a LS1 engine.

I've never been to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, but have wanted to go for years. I live in Southgate a little south of Detroit. Maybe I'll make it out there this year.

I went to Cape Hatteras National Seashrore off the coast of North Carolina for the 4th. I camped and offroaded on the beach and dunes. It was a blast. Anyway...there are pics in my gallery below if you guys are interested. (Don't worry, no scrolling to see 'em )

The Silver Lake sand dunes are a blast and I've done all hills there with my 04 SCREW. I'm from Southgate as well. What street ya on? I'm over by the Grecian Center off of Dix Toledo.
