Angry F150vsMini Cooper

Hi guys. I came across this website and I was wondering if anyone has seen it or heard about it. I didn't know where else to make this post, but it seems like this forum has the most activity, so I put it here.
I really don't know what to make of it, but it sure isn't making me want to get rid of my F150.
If you could check it out and post your impressions on it, it could be an interesting discussion. Here's the link:

I could not read pass the first statement ....

" but then again the majority of accidents involve only a single car."

yeah right ... single cars agains a wall !!! only if you are drunk ! ... and if you are then you are on your own ..

put a mini head on a F150 and your common sense will tell you wich car you will want your family to be in ....

Mini's are cute cars though but I do not want my wife and daugther to drive one ...

I heard that the MINI sucks in side impact though. I am with others as well in saying, how many accidents involve running into a friggin wall? Most accidents I have seen involve rear-end accidents and maybe someone running a red light and hitting someone on the side. In any case, an F-150 hitting a MINI, a MINI rear-ending an F-150, and MINI running a light and hitting an F-series on the side, or finally an F-series running the light and hitting the MINI, the F-series always wins.

Not to be an engineer, but this also doesnt account for momentum what so ever. A 5000+ lb F150 hitting the wall at 65 carries a whole lot more momentum than a 1000lb mini going the same speed, so if you want to test this with equal momentum and see how the mini fairs, I think it would have to be moving at about 325mph...oh man I wanna see that test.
It takes a lot to stop a vehicle that size and preserve the cabin and still come to rest.

the morale of the story is....

DON"T DRIVE HEADFIRST INTO A BRICK WALL!!!!!!

If you do you deserve to be in that kind of crunched up state. It means that you obviously can't drive.

In the fire service we use the "lugnut rule" Which ever vehicle has the most lugnuts wins!

Edgy an easier way to get the same momentum would be to load the mini with about 3000 lbs of lead and see what it would look like hitting the wall at speed. The problem with that logic is that a mini will NEVER weigh as much as an f150.

I also didn't see anything about rollover deaths. Clearly the f150 and all suvs are more prone to rollovers.

I almost drove over a mini today on the freeway!

LOL, you think that little mini could hold 3000lbs and still get up to 65? I think they stand a better chance of shooting it out of a cannon at 325mph.

This makes me mad..

http://www.iihs.org/vehicle_ratings/...eed_lgpkup.htm

That is complete F**cking B*llsh*t. I'm sorry but there is no way having a METAL bumper gets a poor rating. Can someone explain why?

Edit:
Note: No bumper rating available for the Nissan Titan due to a temporary suspension of the Institute's bumper testing program.
Cause it is BS.
