Question Scab owners with borla?

I was wondering how many scab owners with the 6.5' bed had a borla system installed and what they thought about it.

I am looking at getting an aftermarket exhaust and have seen a lot of supercrews with borla, but not many supercabs with a 6.5' box.

Any help would be appreciated

Yours has been the only one I have seen so far. Mine isn't flareside, although if the bed length is the same it shouldn't much matter right?

The bed length is the same. By the way the same kit by Borla fits the super cab 6.5 ft bed and the supercrew. The kit comes with two inlet pipes, you just use the one that fits your truck.

Borlas

Grey Flare Does the Borla kit allow for a single rear exit? I have seen a single exit on a truck in the magazines by Chip Foose, and I like the single rear look. I have tried the single side just like the factory exhaust, and the polished tip get beat up by stone debris from the rear tires.

Farlap,

No, the muffler is a single in dual out , so it doesnt allow for one pipe out the back. As you probably know they do have a single and a dual side exit. If you really want a single exit out the rear you could buy the Borla single in single out muffler and let a muffler shop do the pipe work out the rear. Just a thought.

The part # is 140087 and the cheapest place I have found is on e-bay. I got mine for $554.95 with free shipping. Thank you also for the compliment.

The one I bought off e-bay was "buy it now" only. No bidding. The place that had it for sale was great and I got it within 5 working days. Pretty good considering the distance from where I live.

$512 with shipping from CA to NY a week ago although Borla has just increased prices from 5 - 10% on all their products in past week! Socal Motorsports.com, talk to John! Can't beat them!

I ordered the dual-rear exit system this morning! Finally scraped up enough money to do this and am especially happy since I found a dealer close to me up here in Canada. I also got a decent price from the guy, was about the same as what I would have gotten if I ordered it on Ebay and had to pay the shipping and duty. He is also installing it for me too! Hell, him doing it on a hoist beats me trying to fit under the truck myself

I got my Borla system on yesterday and I am very happy with my decision. Everyone has said this exhaust doesn't drone in the cab when your on the highway, but it does have a nice rumble when you are putting your foot into it a bit. This is completely true for anyone wondering if they should pay the money for this system. It is worth every penny imo. Thanks to Grayflare for the part # and everyone else who answered my questions
