Confirmation!!

I'll admit that when I saw and XL in person I got scared and started to consider how much money I could save on an '03... but seeing this pictures of almost the truck I want... I'm sold. That truck is badass!!

Is that the medium flint interior??? I thought medium flint was lighter than that. I love your grey leather!

BTW: CONGRATS, MAN!!

August 16th, I bought a white 2004 FX4 Supercab from Crossroads Ford, in Cary, NC. It has black leather sports seats, towing package, center console w/floor shift, 3.73 limited slip dif., etc. Went to look at 2003's but just couldn't bring myself to go with one, no matter the deal, after I saw the 2004. Man, what a truck! Quiet, powerful, unbelievably stylish.. In the few days I have had it, I have had a dozen conversations with guys who want to come up and look at it, talk about it. drool over it. I'm loving every second of it too. Did it cost me a bundle? Yeah, I guess, but I couldn't be happier with it. I've got a 4,100 lb (+ trailer), 24' Stingray CR240 cuddy cruiser to pull. Gonna hook it up to this bad boy next weekend and head down to the coast. With the low end torque this truck has, I don't expect it to even break into a sweat, althouh as some of you have mentioned, I ain't going to break any 0-60 records. That's ok..gives 'em time to see it better.

Lord, Jim!

Does your FX4 have the gray along the bottom? I've got a SCrew FX4 ordered but haven't seen any pictures of this color combination. Take pics and post please.. I'm getting very impatient but I know it'll be worth the wait.

L Squared,
Yes, it does have the gray along the bottom. It is highly relective (almost looks silver). There is so much white due to the high body sides and F250 type styling, I am glad to have the color combo. In fact, I am thinking about adding a side graphic, but am not sure about this. If anyone knows of a great company online with a wide array of graphics, let me know, or has any advice about adding a graphic let me know.
A kid knocked my new digital camera out of my hand and broke the lens, so can't send photos quite yet, but will asap. I did find a photo of an identical truck online that was included in the gallery for an article titled "First drive in 2004 F150..." (or something very similar). In fact, I downloaded the photo and am using it as the background on my monitor now. The truck is plowing through a small steam covering a road bed. Cool photo.
