If the base price on a 2004 XLT SCAB with a 145" wheelbase is only $585 more and it includes automatic transmission and the 5.4 litre engine.... then isn't it actually a price decrease? Or whas the 2003 price listed actually bumped up including the $1000 transmission and $800 engine? I could go look but I gotta actually work now.

So with this statement:

2004 F-150 lineup will range from $19,125 to $35,570, plus destination and delivery charges of $795

Does that mean the top of the line Lariat will cost me $36,365 MSRP?

And I mean everything, sunroof, step bars, heated seats, etc.

Thanks,
David

David:
From what I understand, these numbers usually represent base MSRP. So what you are looking at would be the MSRP for a base 4x4 Lariat with standard features, not options.

Price of Loaded out Lariat

Well it appears the truck I ordered over a month ago is going to cost a sticker price of $40,340.00.....

This is a Lariat 4 X 4 loaded, including moonroof, heated seats, power rear window, etc....

Geez for $40k I would pay another $1k or so for a cool Navigational system......

Can't wait to get behind the wheel of this one!

Did you order the rear entertainment system with that?

I have a 4 month old, and the thought of that is very appealing.

No I didn't...

We don't have kids, and I think by getting the power moonroof, that removes the option of the overhead rack system.

Click on the second link, goto the bottom of the web page. There is an "Axle Ratio Upgrade" option for all of the models. I do not see this in the order guide. What is it exactly?

Can you get 4.10s in the FX4?

Thanks,

I added up the sticker price on a truck similar to the truck I just bought and it is actually lower by $200. Mainly, my 03 has FX4 package which is not availible with the 04 Lariat which is fine with me. That includes the $160 skid plates, too!

If I were to order a new 04, I'd get the 6-disc in dash changer, the Delux heated seats, and Reverse sensing system totalling about $1000 more. I wonder if A-plan prices will be higher since they are costing Ford a lot more than $500 to build? Still, $3500 in rebates compared to little if any at launch for the 04.

I don't see the standard tires for 4x4 Lariats, though. Possibly these? P275/65Rx18 OWL All-Terrain (FX4)

One thing to not forgot with everybody trying to figure up hpw much their truck is going to be.

Most of the times Ford will "package" together several options and price it less then the individual would have been.
