Anyone felt the seats in a 2004?
I was wondering if any of you that have gotten to sit in a 2004 have noticed whether the seat cushion foam is soft or hard (preferably the lariat seats). Kinda like the difference between the "softer" 99-00 and the "hard" 01-up seat foam. Im a pretty light guy and i liked the softness of the 99-00. All my 01 up truck seats have been so firm that my weight doesnt even sink a bit into the seat.

That may be just the side bolster that is that thin, and the actual cushion drops lower? I know what you mean about the newer firm seating. I've ridden in a few S-crews and newer 150's made in the last year or so. The seats were so firm that I could not feel the side bolsters at all?,,,98

Congratulations on 5000 posts Screamer, I thought I spent a lot of time on the ol computer.
I may be wrong, but is the black interior shown here the Lariat or the FX4? If you'll notice the speedometer is offset to the right and there are no stereo or climate controls on the steering wheel. It may make no difference but perhaps the Lariats bucket seats will be a little fuller. Either way it will be nice when we can actually sit in them.

I doubt it, you dont know how much ive been bugging our dealsership manager and owner about when we will get a truck in. Plus JOB1 for the reg/supercab isnt until june10 , and for the supercrew it wont be until july 20ish. And even then they say they are going to stockpile over 10000 units before transporting any.
I wish he was right in saying it would only be a month.

I have been working with this program in Kansas City from day 1 and I must admit, these seats are nice, as far as wear and tear issues, too early to tell in my eyes. Remember 100% all new truck here, I would say they are comfortable, however I have not has the chance to drive cross country in one either.
