Wiper/Radio problem???

1999 F150 4.2 215kmiles

When I turn my key back, my wipers, radio and window cleaner work. But.... When I turn my key forward this starting my truck, nothing. No wipers or anything. And my radio just saysbad cd.
I have replaced the ignition lock cylinder, but still nothing.
I was thinking multi switch, but then why would everything work with the key backwards?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
AJ

Congratulations on using common sense.
The Radio does not have anything to do with the Multy function switch.
All fused power comes through the ignition switch and would affect both.
Look at the rod that functions the switch or the switch is faulty.
Good luck.

Last night I went and bought a new igniton switch. It didn't change anything. Still the same result.

Anyone else have any ideas? How do I check the relays ? Are their any relays or fuses under the dash?

Pages 151 to 157 in your owner manual.
One panel behind a pull off door left side of dash, one in the engine bay a closed box below the brake master cylinder.
Good luck.

I know about the fuse boxes. Didn't know if there was another spot.
Here's something that might help , I was changing my blend door actuator, and found that it doesn't have power. Is their a fuse or relay that has something to do with all three?

When I put in the new igniton switch, my truck wouldn't start. Shouldn't it just be plug and play? Like I install it and it drives. I had to do a bunch of **** to get my new igniton to work. Dam Pat's system.

If you turn on your headlights and then try to start your truck do your headlights dim or turn off?

Okay so I bought a new igniton switch from AZ. I installed it and ....ta da....the truck wouldn't start.

Does it have to be programed or something? And even still, the wipers and radio still didn't work.
Any grounds or anything I should check?

ANY HELP WOULD BE HELPFUL! LOL
