Drivers door is smashed in, so can't get actual color code. Have to prime and paint part of it, so it doesn't look so crappy. Is there a particular brand and color that will match?

I think if you go to an automotive store, and look at their touchup paint catelogs, you'll find your "red" in the Ford section for your model year. Red is not a "specialty" color, so if you find something that looks right, you'll get your color code there too. That should help you find the right stuff in Duplicolor or another brand, and with the color code, you could go online and order a custom mix from an online source such as AutomotiveTouchup.com. You might even find your red and the color code on their website, but, I'd try to match it first at a cheaper source locally rather than online.

I've gotten paints for two vehicles from AutomotiveTouchup, and their mixes are just about perfect.

Have been told by my grandpa who owns a body shop, if you are going to get your own paint duplicolor is the way to go. Their perfect match stuff is pretty close.. If not places like car quest can make paint specifically to your paint code.

There are also metal data plates with the paint code stamped on them on the front of the bed (between the bed and cab) and behind one of the headlights.

That being said, I'm sure you can get the right red in Duplicolor without the paint code.
