I would swap it into a notch foxbody but that's just me.

Anyways, I'm subscribing to this thread. The best advice I can give is to go through the truck and list what you think you need to swap. It's much easier to figure out what you need when you're looking at it rather than thinking about it.

What about mount locations / exhaust routing / steering shaft / brake booser

Yes, I have gone through all of that before starting the project.

What about mount locations. ( 5.4L uses same mount location as the 4.6L I just have to swap the mounts. )

Exhaust routing : Custom fabing my own longtubes while tucking them away from steering rod.

Steering shaft : I already had the oil filter mount relocated away from that area.

Brake booster : I got my self a used 2003 Mach 1 hydraulic brake booster.

I'd just cut 90% of the axle off and keep the neck that goes into the hub and the outboard side of the cv joint

You're gonna be reworking the trans mount

What are you doing for engine managment? OEM or A/M?

Cluster you can make work, you will need to "clone" the needed engine outputs to run the cluster. Cloned signals would function completely independent of the PCM functions actually controlling the engine.

AN issue with the alternator as it has to be relocated due to the steering rod.
Accepting any ideas for that easy relocation.

Not the two studs, Thats where the Shifter meets.. Too close for my taste.. Im not gonna do any cutting for this one.

I am thinking of swapping in a Mustang steering wheel as well.. Will have to custom make the adapter for it.

Trans Crossmember will be fabbed this week,
radiator and all the belongings as well such as E.fans and its wiring.
Might keep the stock booster for now till Im sure everything works.
I give it a 3 week to start.. 2 weeks giving all the connections and fabbing and the last week for complete wiring.

I am accepting any ideas while on this build.. I am also thinking of swapping those RAYCARO seats for the sweet sporty touch rather than the sofas.

Good to see someone go through with what they said they would. Too often we get people saying they are swapping in a Ford GT engine or v10 or any other engine for that matter and never do.
