Seat swap

I did some searching and was wondering if there was a thread on this already but nothing I found really spelled it out. I have a 2001 Screw with cloth grey buckets with center counsel and I need a driver seat. What model vehicles offer a simple swap in. I will buy a front pair of seats if I have to becausw the design is a little different.

I just swapped out from a 99 to an 01 and the only major difference between the 2 was the plug for the power seat. Still only needed the black and green wires but for some reason had a red and one other wire that changed it from a 2 wire plug to a 4 wire for no real reason that I found. I just cut and spliced in the old plug.

I was wondering if other models like a Super Duty or E series would be plug and play. Having a tough time finding a seat in good condition in the f150 series.

No your looking for 97-03 F150, 97-02 Expedition/Navigator.

Pay attention to the seat back, they could have different shoulders with included head rests, or the square shoulder could be with or without seatbelts

I put in the ones with the seatbelts on the shoulder to get rid of that stupid blind spot setup!

You could put an aftermarket seat in. I put a corbeau baja rs seat on the stock seat frame and its awesome in a truck. I have a thread on the install somewhere...
