the lift bug
Youll be fine with the 2'' spacer im running them on mine. I also have a garden hose on top of it for a total of 2.5 inch spacer. My upper control arms are just 1/2 inch from bottoming out. I had to cut off the bump stop on the bottom of the upper control arms for them not to bottom out. u should be good with the 2 inchers
On another note, do you have a picture of your ball joint angle? I'd be interested in seeing how close to maxed out they really are. And also how often do you go through ball joints?
Boomer you're on the right track. Just fyi, order your coils and UCA's through Canuck Motorsports. It's $380 for the package through them. That's where I ordered mine from and low and behold they were doetsch brand and shipped directly from the doetsch warehouse. Just thought I'd pass the savings along. Let me know if you need to know anything else about the springtech/doetsch kit.
Do you really think a garden hose is going to push the coil spring out of the pocket? are you serious? . I have no pic of the control arm but i can tell you it is straight up and down with just about 1/2'' from hitting. Would of never of worked without cutting the bumpstop off the control arm. Never have replaced ball joints. Only have a couple hundred miles since doing it
^ hahahaha made my night!! ha and thanks man, ill check in to taht i may stick with my guy kind of loyal to mom and pop shops. do you have a pic of your truck with 9" of lift on 35s?
You forgot the part about the ground off bump stops (And garden hoses. I like to leave mine rolled up outside the house.).
Ok. good luck with those spring tech spindles. While my coil spacers are snugly and securely in the coil pocket your front tires are rolling away.
@ Buxton why did you take the 37s off?
