Actually I think daystar does make a bushing kit for the LCA's. There is really no need to go out and buy the whole assembly when you can just press out the old bj's and replace with moogs.

 

yea i looked em up they really arnt expensive. and my dad knows the rep in memphis so i might get em FREE XD

 

What are the difference between the fabtech arms and the spring tech ones? im looking for new uca's so i can get my ball joint angle better. I was pretty sure the spring tech arms would work with the fabtech spindles. But after reading what you said im confused. I cant even find fabtech uca's

If I remember correct the was a hole on the spindle that needed to be bigger to accept fabtech brand components, but looking back on it it could have been the lower control arm. All I really remember was if you had the fabtech parts on there then a springtech spindle wouldn't work.

 

The tapered BJ holes on the fabtech spindles is bigger than those that are on the springtech ones.

The springtech arms will work on fabtech spindles. Lightningexpo has them on his. It's the fabtech arms that won't work on the springtech spindles.

 

thats right i forgot its that way i thought it was the other way around

 

how easy is it to do an add a leaf? is it easier to do lifted shackles?

 

An AAL is probably a little easier to install than a shackle, but neither one are too hard of a job.

 

to do an add a leaf do you have to take apart the spring pack?
