Yes, but as long as you have some c-clamps they go back together very easily.

I would say add a leaf is easier. especially if your shackles are anything like mine were. I could not get the bolt through the shackle to get it off it was so tight in there it seemed like it was welded in. So had to cut the bolt out.

The add a leaf was simple. If you get the shorter one you wont have to open the clamps up like you would a longer leaf

both were very easy.

shackle, unbolt yours (may need some WD40 to help) then bolt up the new ones.

AAL you drop the axle and U-bolts mine just went under the second one i think, so the go from longest to shortest. and do the little clamps and make sure theyre tight. then you gotta put in the new little bolt thing that holds the leaf pack together to the axle pad/lift block then bolt the U-bolts, you may need longer U-bolts if without the AAL theres not a lot of thread left. but any 4wheel parts should have longer ones.

yeah ull be fine the leaf is only like 3/4in thick. with my 5in block and AAL I needed longer U-bolts so I got ones that are long enough for like a 7in block...of course I never need em but I guess some people do.
