maybe the front right tire isnt balanced, if it was, a weight might of fell off.

also outer or inner tie rod might have gotten a bit loose.

Also check the wheel bearings. On that wheel. Feathering is the most common sign for bearings.

ok so if it is your tie rod you either have a little bit of toe-in or toe-out.

That's pretty obvious - of course that will cause abnormal tire wear. Why didn't you fix it or have them fix it? I never put new tires on a vehicle without making sure everything is up to spec.

x2. for $1200 tires, I wanted to make dang sure the front was up to par. Even got a new alignment.

Exactly! Last year, I bought a set of winter tires from Tire Rack and a set of stock steel wheels from Patman - and went over to Goodyear to get an alignment and have the wheels put on. $1100 later I left with everything refreshed. It needed all kinds of stuff, and they showed me everything wrong before I approved the repairs. I know enough about front ends to be able to tell if they were trying to BS me, they were correct about everything. They even used a dial indicator to measure exact play and had the factory spec sheet printed out. I can't complain about 130k on an original front end with no parts replacement or even an alignment!

I had even replaced the original shocks a couple weeks prior.

Well that is not the information you gave/insinuated earlier. And no one is calling you dumb. We're just trying to help.
