Torsion bar help!!

I recently bent my torsion bar, Ive tried buying them from Ford but they always send me to wrong ones!! I was wondering if maybe the expedition or any other f150 would match up as far as length, spring rating not a huge deal if they are the same.
I have a 1998 f150 extended cab regular bed 5.4 4x4

All the Expeditions, Scabs, Supercrew use the same torsion bars. I just recently ordered ones for a 7700 GVWR F150

I ordered mine through Tasca. They were $96 a piece. The shorter ones would be for a reg cab.

efuehrin: They do, but none have any 97-03 f150/expy's. Ive tried Ebay, but id wanna buy a set to be sure they have the same spring code.

Carcrazygts2: I purchased my last set threw them, but they are the ones that sent me the wrong length. I asked about the 7700/f250 light ones. And they said since they arent the same spring rating as mine they wont let me purchase. When I asked about the right sized ones for my truck, they guy said their are only 1 left side one available.. -__-

Not completely true. I've had two truck this body sylte; a regular cab and a crew cab. My regular cab had long ones and my current crew cab has short ones. I'm certain of this because I clearly recall when I was trading, looking at that with the two trucks side by side and noticing the regular cab bars were clearly longer than the supercab bars.

I cant speak for the newer ones. But I have owned a 97 Reg cab and a 97 Supercab. The regular cab i had did in fact have 4.5" shorter t-bars.

To the op: If you cant find the ones for your truck you can always switch to a GM torsion bars as long as your using stock Torsion keys. The only difference is they are about 4" longer.

To get the one from a 7700 just look up on Autotrader, a 97-99 F250 lightduty get the vin and have them order them for that vin. That is what i did.
