Anything from a 97-2003 should fit just fine. I pulled my 60/40 split bench from my 1998 and put in 2002 bucket seats. I had to tap a couple of holes, but other than that, it was easy.

as far as I know, they should be the same, so any seat combination from 97 to 03 will work. Like I mentioned earlier, depending on what seats you get, you may have to tap a hole or two, but it really is no big deal. I got a set of 2001 leather bucket seats out of a supercrew. This is what it looked like after I changed them out..

FYI...I'll make you a deal on my 60/40 split with a fold down center console if you're in my neck of the woods....

Nope. I had to search high and low for the console and then I ended up buying it in pieces. The main console without the top came from Michigan (cost me 50 bucks), the console lid came from Colorado (cost me 20 bucks), then I had to get the console cover covered in leather (another 40 bucks), then I had to paint the console as it was originally grey (another 10 bucks). A real big pain for the supercrew console, but I just couldn't find one intact anywhere that was reasonably priced.

I put a 60/40 in my '99 XL reg cab ... really a great improvement over the stock bench appearance wise. That being said, I drive 100-250 miles a day in my '03 XL work truck, as well as sitting 2-3 hrs. in it doing paper work and have no problems w/ the comfort of the bench seat.

It's an easy conversion. All holes you'll need are already in the cab floor (plugged w/ rubber plugs), but they'll need tapping (2 different size metric taps).

I went w/ the 60/40 to keep the option of 3 people in the truck, but I sure like the look of the buckets/console. One of these days I'm going to wack the 60 portion of my seat down, and get a console (no full length console, unfortunately, due to the 4wd shifter )

I too have the XL Bench seat. Compared to my '98 XLT 60/40, it was almost unbearable on the 1000 mile trip home from picking up the truck. Some really nice conversions posted here. I like the SVT setup. When I have some time and money I want to do something like that.
