Superduty

Hey guys. I've spent a lot of time reading on this site over the past week, and I know I came across someone who put a Superduty tailgate and taillights in their beast. It looked sweet, but I'm having trouble finding the thread it was in. Can anyone link me, or do you just happen to know if they're bolt on, or custom molded?

Jake installed some Superduty tail lights in his truck at one point. Not sure if they're still installed or not, but he has some pics. I'm not sure about the tail gate, I'm pretty sure it can be done, but I don't recall anyone posting pics of it.

I just saw that thread too, or one similar. I think TheJake has SD tail lights in his truck though.

the SuperDuty still utilizes the same tail gate and tail light mounting design as our trucks. they will bolt right up, no problem, but the tail lights will require some new wiring to get them to work, because they use a different connector/bulb type.

let me go find the thread.

I can tell you right now the person who did it is username rus on here.

Awesome, thanks guys. The bottom of my tailgate is fairly rotten, so I'm thinking I'll try to get my hands on that tailgate since it's got to be replaced anyways. Still cant decide if I want LED tails or not yet though...

I'd vote for LED tails, much brighter, light up quicker.

yeah, I'm thinking that LED is what Ill end up with, the red ones though, not the tinted black ones. After a quick search online, theres no f250 tailgates around my area... time for ebay! haha

Patman modded some OEM tail lights to LEDs.
I'm sure the same could be done with 250 tails.
