i know the XLTs had different grills, some had the notch in the bottom of the grill and some F150s were flat all the way across

my problem is that I have bought three grills off my uncle and taken them back and he is starting to get pissed off because none of them are right. With my 97 honeycomb it had rounded corners and this one has more pointed top corners for the insert. Could this grill be off an expedition?

It's a stock grille for the f150 just depends on the trim level

Just save time and do a 99+ swap bumper and grille

honestly its probably a chinese replica grill. If you've take off the whole grill surround you should be able to see FORD logos on it as well as the build date calender stamped into the plastic
