Changing from 5x135 to 6x135

I really want to change my lug pattern from 5x135 (obs) to 6x135 (nbs) and i figure because i need a new rear axle, this would be the time to do this swap. I do not want to run wheel adaptors i want to actually change the pattern and i do not know where to start. If anybody has any info on this it would be awesome.

I researched up on doing this a few months ago and about all I could come up with for keeping your current axle housing was custom drilling out the bolt pattern in a blank axle. I quit there because it would be unrealistically expensive

Could i just do a full on front and rear end swap from an nbs truck? Would that work?

If you are looking for just new rims that fit the nbs, just order some blank wheels and have them drilled in 5x135. It's cheaper than switching parts, but more expensive than just buying rims made for our trucks.

i would say you can just change out the axles themselves in the rear (not the assembly) since they insides are the same just the outside mounting locations are different.

for the front its gonna be tough.

You'd have to do alot i believe. I think that nbs wheels are 5.5bs compared to 4.55bs (obs) The upper control arm will hit i guess.. I don't see how you could do tht with out getting the entire front end of a nbs and put it in yours. Sounds like a headache. I'm just guessing. If it were prety easy there would probably be a bunch of ppl who have already done it. idk.
goodluck

I'd think that you would need the whole thing. Our trucks have a completely different front end setup. NBS has coil-overs. We have torque bars.

If you figure it out let me know
