5.4 isn't all that great. Nothing like the ol 302 or 351.

4.6 Single Cab Shortbed 2WD. Gotts mod w/ Silencer mod, 3.55 Locked on 235/70/16. Runs 0-60 in the mid 7's.

Truthfully, the 5.4 is so much better than the old 302's and 351's. More power and torque at a better range.

You need to go to a strip with a christmas tree and have some time slips.

I have all three trucks.

I know what they all can do. Just showing a V6 can keep up with a V8.

a 90 305 firebird would be around a 6.5-7second 0-60 with around a 15.0 1/4. sorry dude but there is no way your truck is going to win unless that car is a POS that has had the **** beat out of it. a 90 305ci is about 225hp new. a 3.8L V6 camaro or firebird or a 4.0L mustang would be a better race. 3.8s were 7.5 0-60 with 200hp, stangs are around the same 0-60. i would race any camaro i came up against but i KNOW i would lose to a V8 one unless it was beat. heck i was trying to get beside a 05 style mustang GT today to toy with it just for fun. sorry dude but i know what my truck will keep up with and i know what cars will do what 0-60s sorry but you arent taking a 305 firebird in good condition with your 4.2L.
