I wouldnt fully weld those perches on just yet, until you know your pinion angle. If you do a shackle flip, it will change greatly (though I dont recommend it with a camper).

BTW, that is a D60

Thanks for the heads up, you too Cecil I hadn't seen this yet. Thanks for confirming my suspicion that I dragged the rangers bumper with that big ol D60 in the back

940 # axles, without calipers. In case anyone ever wonders.

I'll take a mail order bride in German form, or Swedish.

JNC, thanks for the notice, mine still close and keep water out. unless something happens unexpectedly I'm good :D

I was going to apologize for derailing your thread, but we are talking about women, and this thread is about teasing, so we are still on track :ll:

Klitch, what gear ratio are you going to run in the new axles?

GATOR CREW 04-15-2010 10:11 AM

Gonna be nice Klitch! I know you mentioned that you were going to keep it about the same height or an 1" taller, are you going to run different size wheel/tires?

Klitch 04-15-2010 10:23 PM

Pat: I don't think so?! I'll look, never even noticed if it looked funny when I was under it.

Minime :D I think 4.56's this time, gonna run the 3.73s a little bit to get an idea if I like the new ride height with the 37's or if I wanna stay slightly cheaper in the long run with 35's

Gator: Gonna start with the 37's I mentioned just above with 17" wheels

minimonster17 04-16-2010 09:33 AM

Personally, I would opt for the 37's, just for the extra increase in ground clearance for the pumpkins. still, it will look BA either way. with all the torque you have w/ the blown 5.4, the higher ratio of 4.56 wouldn't hurt.
