That's a good Idea with the vacuum brush. Surprised I didn't think of that. I use a horsehair brush on the engine once in awhile. Or a bristle depending how dirty it is.

A good filter keeps it nice and clean inside

Thanx Shifty. Yea that way it should just suck air from the filter. I'm not sure what the advantage or disadvantage is deleting those from the TB other that keeping it cleaner ? But I've seen guys remove the PCV system and run just a filter there before.

Hey , where did you pickup that Mark VIII fan ? Salvage yard? Have you seen and salvage yards around Livonia that has 150's on their lots ?

How much salt did you have to survive up there this winter? How is the underside doing? It is amazing how good it looks under that bonnet. I just had to raz you a little.

We didn't have any bad weather here this year. So my truck's underside is still very good. I do have a refrigerant leak to hunt down, and I'm afraid it is at the compressor. Man I hate to open the system up, but it lost all the freon since last summer, and it will be hot here very soon.

not been seeing to many F-150's the ones i have seen are cash for clunkerd and have blown timing covers. saw an 04 that was in a roll over. but most of the 97-03 are blowed up from the cash for clunker.

my buddy got it from parts galore in detroit and i traded him my 2 16" fans for the Mark 8 fan and i love it. find a crown vic/Lincon Mark 8/ newer grand marquis. they all have the huge 24" E-fan on them.

To much salt!, the 98 has seen much better days on the outside, - I was having bad thoughts earlier this year, like getting rid of it. I haven't drove it in quite awhile. She rusting away, - really needs a body.

Rear lower bed panels are trashed -

Surprised, I haven't had a problem with the AC yet. Shoot ,still using my original alternator. Once the AC starts leaking, it get worse pretty quick doesn't it ? Yea, it's suppose to be 70 degrees Easter weekend here lol.

Oh well, as much as I hate body work, -miss the damn truck, so yesterday I fixed one side.

I have to pick up some filler -Some of that good workable stuff, - Rage Gold I think it's called.? Yea have the other side(rear panel), -drivers side rocker and both forward bed panels. Good paint auto pain @ Sherwin Williams, their reasonable as well. - Paint her up in the back yard next month hopefully, Might as well do the paint the trck, -everything. - Home Depot has a nice Husky brand HVLP Gravity feed gun , -pretty cheap! I know a HVLP will cut the supplies cost in half , - that worth an another coat onf clear

Good luck with your refrigerant or AC system Tumba, -find that leak! - I'd rather work on that vs fricken body work.
