They are dry, cleanable paper-like filters. Guaranteed for 100k. I'm running one.

Awesome filters, I have one like that in my shop vac as well. Easier to clean. I remove that filter and slap the snot out of tree trunk with it,- all the crap runs away. Like new again, not even a bruise. I'll get an occasional chunk of bark wedged in between the pleats after maintenance, but that's about it.

Yea, that K&N oil looks allot better around the MAF then it does on it, don't it
It turned out ok. I would have liked to clean the engine bay more but the garage I was in, it would have made one hell of a mess. And the driveway was so sloped I dont think we would have got the truck back in the garage with no motor in it.

About the best its going to look for now.

I used a tricky camera angle to make it look better.. It's dirtier than the pic shows.

10,701 when I got it. Another 40 since then so around 10,741

Was a little worried cause it was from a rollover and had been sitting for 6 years or so since the last time it was started but everything's working out great. Lubed the cylinders and cranked it over a few times before start up. And ofcoarse all new fluids, motorcraft filters and new plugs. Gaskets from the intake up.

Going to be putting this grill surround on it. Some custom grill from the SEMA show. Haven't seen any like it. Not sure how its going to look because of the profile. It's in the process of PTM, few more clear coats and it should be good.

Then the magnapacks and x pipe are going on
killing spiders with the paint ball gun on the wall. Was a whole nest of them one time..

my 77 had no probs with mud other than the truck mis-firing from mud and water getting past my 30 dollar plug wires the intake tube inside was clean and my MAF and TB were clean. the filter was nasty thoe.

Sounds good, your blinker/marker lights shaped that way ? Maybe I'm not looking at that right.

Nice idea on how to kill those spiders, - man I hate spiders.

Compressed air from the inside (clean side) followed by vacuuming the dirty side. I used an upholstery brush on my shopvac.
