look at your angle ... look at mine you have 3 inch coils .. why cant i have 3 inch coils plus a 1.5 spacer ???? if i said i just had the coils it would look like yours and if i only had the spacer it would be at less of a angle then yours...

So what are you guys arguing about?

A dropped cross-frame would put your joints back within specs that's why all quality kits come with them.

Your angles are pretty bad. I'd advise that you take off the spacer on top of the lift coils. That would make them more reasonable.

And blue oval his truck does seem a lot higher than yours.

So there... end of argument.

^^ yea my plan is to take the spacer out because with the spacer out i was able to get it aligned but as has been said once ya go up ya dont wanna go smaller lol

and only reason i have not done it yet is because i have had no problems with my ball joints yet nor with my tire wear so i am not to worried about it even if i do i have life time on the ball joints so dosent worry me much

Your truck does look quite amazing, those rims really set it off.

This thread looked fun!

I tell you what man.. if you managed to fit all of that in there then I give you props. However, I am feeling for your truck though.

It's not the fact that you cant jam it all in there...it's the fact that you SHOULD NOT jam all of it in there. I really don't understand why everyones arguing with him, he's the one who will be putting new ball joints in within the year...let him kill his front end for the extra half inch of clearance.

PS- Our UCA's dont come with a removable ball joint, so have fun paying for entirely new UCA's. And if you want new UCA's, go check fabtech's prices out so you can have a heart attack lol. The only other ones I've found were some crap brand on ebay that no one buys.

The ones on ebay for like $80 are just oem-spec. The fabtech ones are made for lift applications - like what you'd find in your lift kit.

No, I found a pair on ebay specifically for allowing a larger coil spacer. I was trying to see if anyone made them for our trucks. The only ones I've found however are the pre runner arms fabtech makes. They allow for a larger coil spacer.

Yeah that's what I mean - a lift application. Your lift probably uses 3" lift coils, which is why it needs the UCA's.

i paid $54 a peice with a grease joint .... and they have lifetime war. so i am not worried it was a 15 min job to replace them when i did it myself the last time ... and the bottom is about a 2 hour job ..

I guess I can understand, but theres now way your tires wear evenly with that type of angle.
