man i really like your truck! as it sits, you can fit 305/65r17 (33x12.50) on stock rims. i was assuming your keeping your stock 17's? Or you can fit a 295/70r17 (34x12.00). You shouldn't rub with either of those sizes. Or if you if you crank your torsion bars, with your stock rims, you can run 35x12.50's or 315/70r17. Just remember to get an alignment after you mess with your tbars.

Thanx for the comp........

Well i thought maybe putting some 35/12.50.... with a spacer up front would that work.....

Because i dont think BFG makes the A/T in a 34/12.... do they..

And yea if at all possible i would like to run my stocke rims

Np....Yeah, keep your oem wheels. Your right bfg doesn't make a 34x12 for a 17" rim, just a 16". But plenty of others do like, nitto, toyo, hankook...etc.

Or as they say...."go big or don't go at all"
Level it with torsion crank. Your truck would look sick with 315/70r17 bfg at's. (35x12.50)

35's would rub your upper control arms at full lock, but maybe not with a bfg AT since their 35"s are actually 34.5" tall. But it's really minor rubbing anyway, if you can't stand it, i don't see why a spacer wouldn't work.

If hes got a 3" body lift and is 4x4 I think hell be plenty fine with a set of 35x12.5s. I have seen a set of 37s squeezed into a 4x4 with just a body lift and the torsion bars maxed out

yeah he's 4x4...if you want to go all out...haha you can do a body lift and crank your keys then your going to fit the 37's like b2therad said as long as you keep your stock wheels. But 35's are plenty big enough imo, especially on a stock height truck.

Yeah.. I dont recommend running 37s on stock suspension at all. Especially when your torsion bars will be all the way maxed out.. be like riding around on a diving board. 35s would be fine.. and look nice.

cool.... so 34/12's without body lift... 35/12.50's with..... I'd rather go 34/12..... unless a good deal for 35's comes along......

So my question is.... with 35/12.50's... where will i rub without a body lift....
the plastic on lower bumper...right.... and at full lock.....

Thanxz guys

You would have to cut the lower part of the front valence on each side. I have run both 315/70-17 (factory wheels) and 315/75-16 (aftermarket wheels) on my truck.

You can fit a 35x12.50 at stock height by using the OEM wheels. They will rub the frame slitghtly at full steering lock. If you add a body lift you will be able to fit 35's using wider aftermarket wheels.

You will have some minor rubbing at full lock on the torsion bar and frame with stock wheels and 315/70-17's, nothing to worry about tho.

Wandell beat me too it... lol

upper control arms...nothing that will hurt it...unless you do hardcore 4wheelin i guess.

Use your stock torsion keys also if you go that route. You can get plenty enough crank out of them to run 35's. Aftermarket keys are reindexed to give you more crank/harsher angles=bad for ball joints and you'll be replacing them all the time.

The 34x12's do look really full. They fill the wheel wells really nicely also.

With the 16" aftermarket wheels and 35's, what all did you have to trim. Was it just the front valance or did you have to trim the back of the front fenders? What kind of backspacing where you running(4.5?) and i'm guessing they were 8" rims right?
