Smelling Antifreeze

1999 F-150 wheel drive, 4.6. automatic. The radiator is building up pressure, the top hose swells up, I replaced the cap and it worked at first but is building up pressure again. I have had a manifold leak for a while, could this have anything to do with it?
Thanks

It could. Or the thermostat could be stuck. Is it overheating?

were are you smelling the anti freeze, is it in the cab if so the heater core is leaking. usually you will see the anti freeze leaking out of the condensation tube for the ac.

We are smelling the anti freeze, when we are outside. I can't find anywhere that it may be leaking though.

did you check things like engine side of radiator... maybe behind fan shroud... and/or leaking freeze plugs ( just to cover all the bases)
