So what's the plan on the wheels? Paint or powdercoat?

Wow man where does it end!!!! hehehe.......awesome job......youve done really nice work...what a transfo!!!! Quick question for ya, I'm wanting to change my shift **** on my 98 xl, just want to know how you got yours off???? It does'n seem to want to budge, and before I break something I thought I would ask!!!! Thx

gonna do paint. not worth the powdercoat and paying to take the tires off again and not having spares etc..

thanks man. my shifter **** just came loose. it just pulls off, but if it wont come off id keep it there, the aftermarket ones are so frustrating, they come loose and vibrate real bad

and heres the plan for the wheels, if it warms up soon and stops raining



and heres an idea ive been working on for the front (still needs the lightbar though)

You should get one that says Jake or something.

My buddy just showed me a pic of his grille. He got a dark black mesh type material and stretched it across his honeycomb grille and pinned it that way I guess. It looks like a floating emblem.

Off subject, but.. oh well

I will have to see if I can get him to send it to me.. He just did it to his truck. Doesnt look bad actually. Just like a random emblem floating.

thanks man, i got it off ebay for 75 bucks shipped and it fits great actually. i can get pics if you want also

to answer your question id say yes haha. its my ebay grille that i photoshopped to a patman grille. looks sweet to me also. ( i was up way too late one night and then played around more before class in the comp lab)

Which you should do.

as soon as it warms up i plan on painting the wheels, bumper plastics, rear window trim(again needs touch up from toolbox swaps), door panels, rear emblem, shocks maybe, bed rails maybe. haha gonna make a day out of it
