If you have a automatic trans with 355s and a 4.6 running 35s then you are going to be kicking yourself when you get those tires on. Just a word of experience.

I would go with 4:56s at the least. I have 4:56s, and I LOVE them. Gears before tires IMO.

How bout 33s? Cuz gears are not in the cards at this point.

Just go with some 305/70/16s which is 33x12.5.

well i thought i might as well update this thread on a few things ive been doing

First off i had a chance to get the wheels painted.





didnt paint the centercaps till this past sunday since i was waiting on the last one to come in but theyre black now just no pics of them yet



then we got some snow last week





and then thanks to patrick i have a new emblem for my grille as well as some honeycomb pieces to make me a patman grille this coming weekend possibly



and lastly i picked these guys up on friday also

Also ive been working on a secret surprise for the truck which hopefully i can finalize tomorrow.

and i picked up a new LS differential in houston (dad got it for me) for 150 with some 3.73 gears in it (which im selling). no i just need to order my ring and pinion and wait till spring break and ill be running 4.56 LS in the rear

plan for the fx4 wheels is to box em up and ship them off... to another member haha. they were fs on craigslist in town for 200 which is a great deal for fx4 wheels

Truck's looking great man - those 4.56s ought to wake that v6 up quite a bit, especially since it's not doing too bad on the 3.08s.

haha but im glad you did. had it a little muddy until it rained today and cleaned most of it off. yes its a very secret surprise and very worth it.

and i cant wait till the new gears go it not only wake the truck up but get it off my wallet in gas haha

thanks man, you should talk to travis (blackedoutv6) and convince him to sell you his or theres a set with tires in houston for 400.

i need to find time to sand down the inside and re-clear my fx4 wheels before i sell them, and find the receipt for the tires so i can see how much theyre worth.
