headlight aiming tool

does anyone have this tool, I wanna get my aim just right but I dont wanna spend like 30 bucks on a tool I could borrow. it would be cheap, like $.43, just put it in an envelope send it. I wouldnt need it for long. and I might send a couple bucks back for your troubles and the tool of course. hopefully this will be the last set of headlights for my truck since theyre the ones i want.

Just keep pulling them out and adjusting the screws until you get it right.

a 4mm socket will fit the ends, but you dont have enough room to get it on there.

Just take it to a dealership and ask if they will do it for free

Theres a tool to do this? I just keep taking mine out, adjusting them, and slide them back in.

Just as an FYI, SJ Discount charges over $11 for shipping charges, and they dont tell you that until AFTER you place the order. Going with the one from Amazon is cheaper after shipping.

How do I know where the headlights are aiming right now? They seem to be fine when I drive at night.

the way you can test them is park about 25 ft away from a flat wall and the light should be focused parallel to the height of your truck, unless its lifted, then they would need to be pointed down. with my HIDs and L heads mine are still straight. i dont think theyre all that blinding when i have someone drive my truck at me from a distance but in a little car i could imagine it being way brighter.

I just measured the adjuster screws off the old ones, from two fixed points, and it worked well. I think one is a bit higher, but it puts you in the ballpark really close, like 95%.

This is where I prefer to buy tools toolsource.com

Toolsource.com also has the lisle tool
http://www.toolsource.com/headlight-...d-p-67734.html
They dont have the best prices but have many items that you can't find elsewhere.
