headlight aiming tool
headlight aiming tool
does anyone have this tool, I wanna get my aim just right but I dont wanna spend like 30 bucks on a tool I could borrow. it would be cheap, like $.43, just put it in an envelope send it. I wouldnt need it for long. and I might send a couple bucks back for your troubles and the tool of course. hopefully this will be the last set of headlights for my truck since theyre the ones i want.
Just keep pulling them out and adjusting the screws until you get it right.
a 4mm socket will fit the ends, but you dont have enough room to get it on there.
Just take it to a dealership and ask if they will do it for free

when people flash you. although i think a majority of people here are running HIDs as well
the way you can test them is park about 25 ft away from a flat wall and the light should be focused parallel to the height of your truck, unless its lifted, then they would need to be pointed down. with my HIDs and L heads mine are still straight. i dont think theyre all that blinding when i have someone drive my truck at me from a distance but in a little car i could imagine it being way brighter.
This is where I prefer to buy tools toolsource.com
Toolsource.com also has the lisle tool

They dont have the best prices but have many items that you can't find elsewhere.
