Both are excellent tires. However, the Mud Grapplers are extremely loud (even by MT standards) and wear out quickly. For this reason, I'd go with the Toyo MT's.

depends on what you want them for? If you don't care how long they last then the nitto muds. But i would also suggest the Nitto Trail Graps they are a little more aggresive then the Toyo's but last just as long

I really, really like my Toyo's. They look great, wear like iron, and are very quiet for being a MT!!

Go with the Toyo's for sure. IMO they're the nicest tires ever made.

Toyo's hands down. The Nitto's are very loud even new and wear very quickly.

I've ran Toyo's for 3 years and love them. I also have a set of Nitto's, but like my Toyo's better.

I can tell you this, living high in the mountains with different types of conditions through out the year, the Toyo Open Country MTs are fantastic. They are heavy and will cause the mpg to go down a little, but I wouldn't change a thing... Being 10 ply also helps...

Toyo's For sure! I just put some nitto's on my truck and I regret it everyday. although the mud grapplers look mean, they are also mean on your truck and ears. They are super loud and wear so fast. My toyo's were able to squeeze out around 50k miles and they rode and balanced out just like the stock tires did.

i just got a set of mud grapplers on my truck and are happy. they fit my lifestyle now with driving less than 6000 miles a year. they have a hum but are not as loud as people make them out to be. believe they have a nice sound. the wear does not bother me because of my driving habits. ill buy them again
