Seafoam - how to use?

Ok I don't want to start a debate on whether the product actually works or not, just consider me one of the ones that has drank the cool-aid and am willing to try it to help my situation.

I have read to pull the break booster line and pour 1/3 of can in it. Just want to make sure that I have the right hose. Is this correct?

(Photo is from the cleaning the throttle body thread)

Also do I need to do anything to the hole in the break booster?

Are these the correct steps:
1) With engine warm pour 1/3 of can down break booster line.
2) When engine starts to stall, cut off engine
3) Let truck sit for about 30mins
4) Start engine and watch the smoke
5) Take a drive for a few minutes.

Talking

i have done some research on sea foam before. i used it a few times.. for best results let the car sit for about 2 hours. it really cleans it out good, i pulled the line off the brake booster and poured 1/3 down there the carwill more then likely stall out but dont start it again. then i pour 1/3 of the can intothe breather. then you can pour the rest in the gas tank but i pour it in the carb of my chevy usally. then let it sit for 2 hours or so and then start it up.. its gonna SMOKE alot. if you have close neighbors they may think there is a fire. let it run for a while and drive it around a bit and your good to go. make sure you change your oil within 500 miles after running this product. any other questions let me no i may be of some help. thanks

Yeah, the AutoZone here has the Seafoam engine stuff. If you ever take off your TB & elbow , Seafoams aerosol spray called "DeepCreep" cleans and lubes in on application - that's my favorite product they make. If you have a CarQuest in your parts , they have more SeaFoam products.

I've never seen it do anything. But it makes a huge smoke cloud.

If this is the guy I 'm thinking of. His throttle body ports are clogged - determined about a month ago in another thread . He lives in an apartment complex and can't work on it there(that sucks) I would anyway - I'de have the thing off and in the apartment - clean it up - slappit back on . I don't think it takes that long to take off - he hasn't done it before, have to figure in ace scratching time.

Hey reese , you just buy an extra TB assembly -

You'll have to look it up - basically , you suck threw you brake booster and cleans the insides of your manifold, injectors, TB, IAC - Makes for a better idle and quicker response times - that's if the TB isn't totally compromized
