Doesn't that kit use bigger injectors so that any reported MPG by the computer are incorrect as they are computed based on duty cycle of the injectors and obviously for the same duty cycle bigger injectors use more gas? I know that is how it was on my supercharged BMW's.

If you'd stay out of boost I can believe it. Lowering is documented to improve MPG, Long tubes, and tune would net higher MPGs. I'm sure the boss intake doesn't hurt either
Ive already seen (and calculated) 23.8 crusing at 60 mph in my stock 5.0

The reason I was going to Illinois was to meet the soon to be new owner of the truck and my wife followed me in our expedition with a 3v. We both gassed up at same time, followed each other, and by time we got to st Louis.... I had burned up almost half of what she did, literally. I'm not sure if that was a good example to compare because I'm not sure what the difference in size of fuel tanks are. I do know the expedition got horrible gas mileage when we picked up the boat though lol...
Too bad I feel like I need to be defensive when I know my claims are factual not bogus

Not accusing you of starting a bogus thread. I feel like the reading on your dash is bogus. Again it's a gorgeous truck and a great build. I love your truck. I'm not attacking you. For what it's worth cruising with vacuum is done with any blower lol. Unless of course you disconnect the vacuum bypass. That's what the bypass is for. To prevent the blower from boost unless a load is placed on the motor that changes vacuum to zero.
I disagree with the long tubes and intake helping mpg's. I'm sure someone has done a test to prove it and others have disproven it. It were true the trucks would have long tubes from the factory as they are under tremendous pressure to improve mpg's by both the government and the buying public. Lowering can help but only so much. Large heavy wheels will cost you mpg's as the rotating mass becomes so great.
Perhaps you are getting the fantastic mpg's perhaps not. Right now it appears the only thing you are going on is the dash read out. Again not knocking you or your truck. You have to expect some skeptics when posting information of this nature. Either way you have a truck to be proud of.
