Procharger, if you got enough money and your motor is still in good shape.

i have been wanting to do a truck with my kind of upgrades and then turn around and sell it like roush and shelby but i want to do it with the smaller motor and yes i do like torque thats why my bronco has a 400m in it in stead of a 460

so your saying the 4.6 has more torque than the 5.4?

The 98 4.6L was rated at 220 hp and 265 ftlbs of torque. I had one. It wouldn't be my first choice to start "souping up".

How is your truck configured? Extended cab, short box, 4x4? What do you want to do with the truck? Tow, race, both? What kind of supercharger do you want? An internal compression blower will make less low end torque than an external compression blower but will make power to a higher rpm.

X2

I prefer my procharger over the eaton but majority of people like the positive displacements on the street.

torque tech has an intake manifold that allows the use of a terminator cobra eaton or after market substitute to bolt onto a 2 valve 4.6, that with a sheet metal intake plenium to be more truck friendly would be a good choice but the procharger will be cheaper and easier since it'd be a direct bolt on

also theres less rotating mass and lower IATs thus u can add more timing and make more power.

no i did not say that a 4.6 makes more torque i was only making an example of something to show that i do like torque. i am thinking i will go with the procharger. My truck is an ext cab 2wd i am wanting it to appear as a stock vehicle kind of like the lightning but with my own twist. This will be my own brand of f150 kind of like what roush has done BUT MINE
