2005 SCREW new Rancho QL struts .. still rake

Would this be normal. I installed the QLs RS999910 this weekend and still have quite a bit of rake. I was hoping to level it out. Do I still need a leveling kit or are these bad struts?

Shouldnt these struts get me closer then this?

The Rancho rep hangs out in the Suspension section very often here, he would be able to tell you if those are the right ones. I got the wrong ones for my truck (even though their website told me they were the right ones) and the rep here hooked me up and took care of me.

Are you the only owner? Are you sure there are no lift blocks in the back that may have been added for the tires? I bought a truck once and it was always low in the rear, turns out the P/O put on lowering shackles. Took me a long time to figure out they weren't the stock ones.

I also have a 05 with the QL struts and shocks. I still have a slight rack which is according to description but it isn't more that 1/4: or so way less then what it was before.

I just got the rancho QLs for my 06 screw about 4000 miles ago and so far no problems out of them. My truck seems to be slightly lower in the front than the back but it not enough to really notice.

A couple of questions

A couple of thoughts/questions...

Could be a previous owner shimmed the rear leafs?

Do you have before and after measurements of the lift?
A final measurement of where you are at now from center of spindle to fender?
RS999910?
8200lb GVW model?

Thanks

If you look at the gap from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender...you'll see the space is shorter in the front compared to the back...Might be about an inch.

But the rake was definitely worse prior to the Rancho QLs...so I'm happy with the result.
