Motor swap.
Will a 90 and a 94 inline six be a direct swap? Don't even have the motor yet (if you are reading this stewy, I'm workin on it), but I want to make sure everything will basically be plug and play. Will have both wiring harness' in case that is an issue.
I'm gunna be lookin for a mazdog soon so if anyone has one

No hurry russo. The engine is out and complete including the harness, computer, rad, fan, shroud, starter, aiirbox, etc. The cab was off the truck so i just cut the frame off on either side of the engine mounts and left it complete. Saved the driveshaft, rear view mirror and horns like you asked too. oh and i lied to ya. i told you it had 50 k on it. The odometer actually said 55 k. sorry about that. but what's 5k on an I6? not much! And what's a mazdog?

And I just found this.. https://www.f150online.com/forums/pr...wd-vs-2wd.html
It's a good thing I talked you out of the swap how long ago.. hahah
Funny stuff though.

While I'm here, and steve may chime in, Can I pull the A/C, all in one unit of course (even though I have the equipment I don't feel the need to attempt a discharge) Without affecting anything else, air/heat wise?
Better yet, if stewy hasn't annihilated the parts truck can I just drop that A/C stuff in.
Edit for coming up with more dumb questions.
If the A/C is drained, could the pump then be used as a idler pulley I guess you could call it, meaning would it do the same as a delete pulley or would something go wrong there

When I evacuated the a/c it still had a full charge in it. But if I'm not mistaken your 1990 has an R-12 system. And I snapped off the lines going into the condenser soo.. roll down your windows. I did read one of Steve's posts recently about getting the system out without evacuating it. Unfortunately that's not the way I went about it.
