Mark iii conversion package ?
Hey guys I have been looking at a few older trucks and one that is standing out is a 95 f150 with a "mark 111 Conversion package"
I cant find any info on this online, I asked the guy he said its like getting an xl, or an xlt... just another edition, just has like power rear window and some lights inside, leather seats... Is there anything else different? It looks like any other f150, says ford f150 on it not lincon.
It has a 351 in it, any one know if there is anything done to engine or a different tranny on this edition?
Thanks , any info would help because I got nothing from google

From what I've read on google, it's just a company that got plain old F150s, then made the interior a little nicer. Capitan chairs, vanity lighting, etc. Nothing too special.

I have one. Mine is a 94 ext. cab flare side. Totally the same except for the interior. BUT- They installed a power sunroof that was already seam sealed shut by the time i bought it.(I'm assuming for water leak issues) They cut through one of the roof bows when they installed it then put a lighted lund sunvisor on. So now if you get the truck above 70 MPH the roof panel buckles up and down like a sheet metal trampoline and sounds like the world is coming to an end. Also it has these wood inlays all through it. The ones over the power window switches are installed over the factory covers which actually recess the switches down in it. Like you'd need to grow your fingernails long to reach down in and push them. I really need to figure out how to post pics on here so I could show you what I mean.

Don't get me wrong, I love this truck and it looks really nice. I just would have skipped the sunroof. Also I'm not a fan of leather. When the temperature gets cold it's like sitting on an ice cold hard church pew. And when you can't leave the windows down in the summer because you work next door to the projects it's like getting a leather skin graft on the back of your legs.

^ that's what will wind up happening with this ... I've never had any interest in luxury trucks and this truck I will be using for off roading. ... The only reason I'm considering it is it's cheap ... 176 xxx on it.. 351 w in it 4 wheel drive ... 1500 obo .. If it's in good enough shape I'm bringing it home and adding 6-8 inches and 35-37's

Well 2 things on that. Shackle flip for the research is cheaper and better than most anything else. If you're gonna be running that size tire you will need better axles if u want it to last at all. Well, 35s are the limit. 37s are past the limit. Might as well do it right and not gets some POS radius arm drop kit with springs. Waste of money imo.

Most of the time the exterior had a few add-ons as well with the Mark III package. Custom wheels, and full length running boards. Captains chairs weren't always added, but it was always leather seats w/ powered lumbar support. Wood grain (real wood) trim accents on dash/doors/ceiling. Everything else was mostly the same.
