HELP!!! F-150 Leveling Kit
I just got a 2001 F-150 XL Sport 2WD and wanted to put a leveling kit on it. I looked around and found a 1" and 1.5" Front kit for $39.99 made by Daystar. Is this a good brand and what kit should I get. And lastly the kit only comes with coil spring spacers, do I need to buy other things to complete the mod. Thanks for any help.

I have a quick question. I have looked at several leveling kits and quite a few of the people who put these kits on are riding nose high. I think riding nose high looks forty times worse than low. Also, how much weight would it take, put in the bed, for the truck to start riding nose high (I move things around from time to time). Thanks

heres what to do. you have a 97-03 so go with the 1.5" daystar kit for 40 bucks. also youll need to get a set of camber bolts for the upper control arms to align the truck and your set search part number EIB587385K on google and the stillen.com site has them for about 50 shipped. you can install it your self. its very simple and takes about 3-4 hours. total price is 40 for the kit, 50 for camber kit, + alignment.

I had had camber bolts installed preivously when other suspension work was done so I got to skip that step but your timeline is correct. I installed the kit with the camber bolts then got it aligned. I spent 40 on the spacers then 100 on a lifetime alignment at brake check. That would have been an extra 50 for the bolts shipped and I also got me a new jack ( birthday present from my parents) before doing it and a deep 21 mm socket and tie rod fork ( bout 20) to make things easier
