Mothers Back to Black.... Meh.
The black on my door handles was pretty nasty looking so I decided I'd give cleaning it up a shot, went to advance and picked up the Back to Black stuff from mothers. I'd just say Meh overall. very minimal improvement, here's a picture before and after of the door handles. This weekend I'll do a second coat on it and post more pictures to see if there's any more restoration. I'd say worth the $10 but I think my expectations were too high.

I had a 2001 Tacoma TRD - which had the black plastic fenders flares. I used the stuff extensively, but over a much larger area, which is undoubtedly easier than door handles. In my experience, Back to Black has to really be massaged thoroughly into the plastic to see a difference. And yes, it does take multiple coats. The more you rub into it, the more it works. The main problem I had with the stuff is that it just flat out doesn't last more than a month.

I used that Wipe New stuff you can get at Wal-mart. I used it on door handles, cowl, rear bumper step pad, etc. Stuff is amazing! I used painters tape to mask off the areas I wanted to wipe down. I went and used it on all the bottom plastic cladding on my wife's Expedition. Stuff is going on one year and still looks great and it's never been in a garage and has been car washed at least 20 times. You just have to make sure once you apply it, give it 24 hours to cure, and away from wet weather. That was the key for it to work for us.

I have read a lot of good things about Showroom New. I purchased some, but have yet had the time to try it.
