MY previous Co. truck (1997 F-150 S/C with 4.6L Windsor) now has over 200,000 miles and is still going strong. This 4.6L has not been babied or seen oil changes & service at proper intervals. It has had (2) tune-ups and every major component on the engine and truck are orginal (lower ball joints & rear spring were replaced once).

This truck showed cold start engine knock @ 37,000 miles. Yes, it is still going strong (FORD TOUGH). It has also been very low on engine oil ( four quarts low--three months ago).
