2009-2012 suspension lift picture/review thread
More and more I find myself daydreaming about a new truck. Of course it will be lifted so how about some input? Could everyone with a new body style F-150 with a full suspension lift kit post a couple pics and a short review of their impression of their lift. Don't forget to include wheel/tire sizes and specs!

Procomp Stage II 6" lift. Installation was all straight from the directions. brakes were a little interesting, but other then that it was a snap. Would do another one myself after this one. 305/55/20 with 20x9 wheels 4.5" backspacing. 35s are a much better fit, but these were new and gonna wear them out first. Coilovers are a lot more responsive and the overall suspension has a stiffer feel, but not spongy as i think the stock suspensions are. Other then that its just like driving a stock truck....cranking coilovers eventually with some 37's

wandell you helped me years ago lifting my 2wd 01 screw. Here's my turn to help you.
This is my 2010 FX4 screw with a 6in BDS lift and 35x12.50 Toyo Open Country's on 18in Dck Cepek rims. The lift was installed on my rig before I bought it new from my dealer so I dont have any insight on how easy the lift was to install, but I have heard it was straight forward. Heres some photos, there's more in my garage.
I havent had any issues with it on the sand or snow
The tires dont stick out all that far because of how far they tucked them in with the backspacing. Im not sure of the backspacing but there's only about a finger width inbetween the inner tire and spindle.
The only problem I have noticed with it is the powder coating on the cross members are peeling off, but I think that is due to the sandblasting of driving on the beach.

Here ya go wandell,
Had it installed at a shop and I'm extremely happy with the quality and ride. Here is my set-up:
6" Zone Off Road Lift Kit / 325/65/18 Nitto Terra's / 18 x 9 KMC XD Series Addict -12 Offset 4.5 BS / Yukon 4:11 Gears (in hand, waiting install)

Here is another option Wandell:
4-inch Rancho Suspension System
35x12.50R18 BFG KM2s
18x9 XD Addicts
The Rancho is well engineeredf with welded subframe and retained the stock geometry so truck handled like factory but still rode very well even with the slightly stiffer RS5000 shocks (or you could opt for the adjustable RS9000s).

I'd been waiting to see pics of the Zone kit, looks awesome. I've been wanting to pull the trigger on one for a while.
