New BFG KO2 and level!

Installed a 1.5 auto spring spacer and put on 275/60/20 KO2's. Love the look! I have only driven them a few miles so far but they ride very well.

I have a slight rake which is what I prefer. To the center of the fender well from the ground the front is measuring 39 inches and the rear is 40 inches (that is with about 200 lbs, my stock tires, in the bed). It might raise up a bit when completely empty but I doubt much.

Here are some more views.

Did it give you a true 1.5 inches of lift? Heck I might just do 1 inch.

I put 60's on and still stock. Need to get something done in the couple months so it doesnt look as stuffed.

I would say yes but I have been kicking myself because I forgot to measure it before I did the install.

To the best of my memory the front was around 37 inches stock. I did measure a few weeks back when I ordered the spacer. I am at 39 now with the level plus the size larger tires.

This is the toyos in a 60 stock susp. for reference. Dont know how they actually size up against each other. Now I have some thinking to do about what I want. Never tried a spacer kit before only bilsteins 5100s or actual lifts.

Btw your truck looks nice. If my tundra wasnt a similar color I would have ended up with that color.

I had a 2.5 spacer on my 2005 and ended up with front end issues after about 30000 miles. I replaced them with Rancho quick lifts and never had another issue.

That is one reason I only went with a 1.5 spacer. The only lift shocks that I could find for the 2015 ore the Fox and they are over $700 for the set. I hear that Rancho is supposed to be out with some quick lifts (around $360) for the 2015 at the first of the year so I probably will switch to those when they become available.

I really like your white truck. I almost went with white but when I saw a ruby red in the sunshine I knew that was the color!

What brand of spacers did you go with?
Did you do them yourself?
Did you get it aligned afterwards. Looking at doing the same thing.

Auto spring brand. I did install them. Took about 3 hours. Had an alignment done the next day.

Has anyone heard anything about bilstein 5100's coming out yet?

Maybe I will post a new thread later when I get a chance.

Have not heard anything about those. Rancho will be out soon so my guess would be they are not far behind.

Did you have to take the bottom control completely off? Or, could you just take the ball joint lose from the spindle?

Thanks.

No I did not remove the lower control arm. It is tight getting the strut tower out but it can be done. I pretty much followed this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7e-c...ature=youtu.be
