Really waiting to see how close the ecoboost is with the 6.2 Silverado that video should be out soon..

The Eco should actually have the advantage only because they are testing thousands of feet above sea level where a normally aspirated engine makes 30% less power. A twin turbo motor has the advantage in this situation. Let's see a test at sea level & it will be fair. Very few people drive at 11000 feet above sea level on a daily basis.

So would you prefer they bring the Ford 6.2 up instead of the eco?

Why is the Titan even there?

Absolutely. The test is not in favor of any normal aspirated engine at 12000 feet above sea level. The Titan was overloaded by 1000 lbs so I don't even know why it was even there. Lol

They had to have one to pick on! Ha! The Titan did have cooler front brakes after going down the hill. Advantage Titan!

They should test Toyota and Dodge while they are at it.

They did test the Toyota (VER 1) and it was about the same as the Titan, floored all the way and not able to maintain the 60 MPH.

They test up a grade as that is the hardest real world test your going to have pulling a trailer. Maybe, they should include a 5.4 with a super charger, I would like to see that one.

30% loss (your number) for the Chevy, and 15% loss (made something up cause I don't know what either actually are) for the EB put the numbers around the same values.

A supercharged 5.4 can't tow 10k lbs sustained though, nor can any supercharged truck for that matter.
